After I complete my Desination Marathons Evaluation, how long until I receive my Package Proposal? Upon full completion of the evaluation, we will have a detailed proposal sent to you within 3 business days. This proposal will be provide the where, when, how, and how much to your vacation.
- I am interested in booking my Package Proposal, what is the next step? Depending on the package, there will be a small deposit needed in order to hold the vacation for you. This deposit must be received within 10 business days from receiving the Package Proposal, as our vacation pricing is time sensitive. If you wish to include airfare with your package, this must be paid 100% at the time of booking.
- 10 Business Days has past, and i would like to make my deposit. Is my Package Proposal still valid? We include a 10 Business Day Price Guarantee. This is because pricing of tours, adventures, cruises, and all-inclusive resorts can change on a weekly basis. If you have exceeded you 10 Day period after receiving your Package Proposal, please email us and ask for an extension. Don't worry though, we will send you a reminder when your Proposal is about to expire!
- After my marathon, what are the options available for vacations? We have a number of different ways you can spend your vacation apres marathon. To name a few: Cruise, All-Inclusive Resort, Hotel Stay combined with Local Tours, Adventurous Getaways (hiking, biking, sailing), Wildlife Adventures, etc.
- Do I have to run a marathon in order to participate in the Desination Marathons? We do include marathon admission in the price of the Destination Marathons Package Proposal. We understand that plans change, and if you do wish to not run the marathon at the time of travel, you are still welcome to enjoy the remainder of your vacation!
- After I have accepted my package proposal and placed a deposit, what happens if i wish to change/cancel my destination marathon? All the information on cancellation/change/refund policies will depend on your individual destination marathon vacation. Once the deposit is paid, there maybe a penalty fees. Please see your destination marathon Package Proposal for more information.
- We are travelling as a large group. Do you offer large group rates? Yes, we are happy to offer Package Proposals for groups of any size. The larger the group, the more negotiating power we can have with our travel contracts - which in turn should offer significant savings to all members of your group.
- Am I able to bring Family and Friends with me on my Destination Marathon? Yes, of course. We offer all sorts of vacations that can be tailored to families and friends.
- I only run half-marathons, or 10K's. Do you offer destinations for these types of races? Many destination marathons offer multiple options on race day, including half-marathons, 10K, and 5K races. If these alternatives are better for you, it should not be a problem to switch - pending availability.
- Do you suggest running a marathon before or after travelling to a destination? This is a decision that will be made by you, but by experience, we suggest before! Running your race before the remainder of your vacation will allow you to relax and enjoy the many things you can't enjoy when training for a marathon (ex: yummy foods, alcoholic beverages, late nights, etc)!
